Q: What is e-PATH?

   Answer

e-PATH is an electronic payment hub for the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) for stakeholders and public to make payment for submission to the SC via internet banking, credit card and online transfer. For submission through Lodge and Launch Framework (LOLA), Electronic Application System (EASy) and PODS, please make payment through the respective applications.

Q: What types of payments to the SC can be made via e-PATH?

   Answer

You are able to choose the category and sub-category from the drop-down menu under the “Select Fee/Others” tab.

Q: When can I access e-PATH?

   Answer

The payment portal is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Q: I forgot my password, can I reset password?

   Answer

Yes, it can be done through self-service. On the login page, click “Forgot Password” link. Then, enter your registered email address. A unique link to reset password will be sent to your registered email address.

Q: Can I change my details such as telephone number, address, and password?

   Answer

Yes, you can change your details through self-service in the “Profile” and “Change password” tabs. Please note that it is important that you keep the details up-to date and accurate as the invoice generated will be based on the details contained in your Profile.

Q: Can I still make online transfer or pay by cheque?

   Answer

Yes, you can. However, you still need to register with e-PATH, after which you can upload your supporting document (such as a remittance slip after banking in your cheque) via the payment method: offline payment in e-PATH. We strongly encourage payment to be made through credit card or FPX in e-PATH.Please allow up to 7 working days for us to process your offline payment submission.

Q: Who do I contact if I need assistance with regard to e-PATH?

Q: How do I request for a refund if duplicate payment was made on e-Path?

   Answer

If you have made a duplicate payment, please email to paymentsupport@seccom.com.my with the relevant supporting documents (e.g. extract of statement of payment) for a refund request. The payment support team will contact you on this matter.

Q: Where can I obtain a copy of my fee/others statement (FOS) or receipt?

   Answer

You may obtain a copy of FOS or receipt at “Transaction History” tab.

Q: Does the issuance of receipt guarantee approval of application from the SC?

   Answer

No, the issuance of receipt acts as a proof of payment made to the SC and it does not indicate an approval. Please ensure compliance with other applicable guidelines issued by the SC.
